The Bainbridge family from Coventry have been with us at le Picard since the summer of 2000. Sue and Martin first came when the children, Dan and Gemma were quite young.

That summer was their first experience of caravanning. They had borrowed a friend's caravan which was already stored at Le Picard. and their holiday was so enjoyable they carefully looked over the used caravan stock in the sales area and bought their first caravan.  At the end of the holiday Paul took their new pride and joy and put it carefully into storage.

Since then they have returned regularly during school holidays. Easter, Whit, Summer and October - even braved a couple of Christmases!

As the children grew so did their need for a bigger caravan and Paul , once again managed to provide them  with just what they needed - an enormous German caravan.

In the photo the Bainbridges have just about packed everything away prior to their return to the UK, having spent three glorious weeks  with us. "We have all made such good friends here." said Sue, "The children have the freedom to go off and entertain themselves without us having to worry about their safety. Its the way I remember my childhood. We have so many friends here at Le Picard and we all, adults and children, look forward to meeting up whenever we can.

Jeff and Joy Lister have been staying at Le Picard from 1999.

First of all we had a caravan and used the storage facilities. We always thoroughly enjoyed our break at Le Picard - facilities were good there.
The site has its own restaurant , swimming pool and a pond for fishing.
It was easy and quick for us to travel from where we live in Portsmouth .
The Fastcat ferry meant we could leave Portsmouth at 7.00a.m. and be on site by 11.30a.m.

We then purchased a mobile home from Paul and Lucia two years ago and this has been brilliant. We spend all half term holidays and summer holidays
here and yes last year we spent part of Christmas and New Year holiday.
It was fantastic.
Our grandchildren love coming in the summer and we are happy as we know they are safe and they have made plenty of friends.
But none of this would be the same if the site wasn't run by good English proprietors giving a welcoming atmosphere. We are always made welcome and Paul and Lucia are always willing to help.

This was the first time to this campsite and we found it very friendly with a good atmosphere! The pitch was a good size and in general is a nice clean site. Would  come here again definitely.

Lovely, clean and friendly site. Ben was never out of the pool. Site like one big happy family. Close to all main beaches and attractions. Would definitely book again.
